Cat with Flower Original Collage

A lot of my art includes cats and my love of them inspired this black cat with blooms sprouting from his back.  Cats are magical creatures so anything is possible!  

All paper used to create the images was hand-printed using a gel plate, acrylic paints, stencils and natural elements including flowers, leaves, weeds and grasses.  After pulling the prints the papers are torn and cut into the desired shapes and pieced together.  Papers are adhered to the substrate with an archival matte gel medium.  This piece is on canvas.
