Hi. I'm Cathleen Baldwin and I'm a collage artist who lives in Holly Springs, North Carolina. I have a love of all animals and my six cats are very helpful in my creative process!

I create my collages using the gel plate, handprinting all of my own papers. My materials consist of plants, flowers, and weeds that I collect wherever I go. Combining these bits of nature with paint and stencils creates unexpected results. Each print is an experiment and no two pieces are alike! I tear, layer, rearrange and combine these papers until the image begins to emerge.

When not creating, I enjoy reading, travel and volunteering with rescued farm animals. It's a joy to see these beautiful animals living happy and carefree lives.
