Monstera Plant in Pot Original Collage

The Monstera is one of my favorite plants and it was a fun project cutting out all of these little leaves and "planting" them in the pot. The plant is against a bright orange background and the edges of the wooden panel are a light purple for contrast.

All paper used to create the images was hand-printed using a gel plate, acrylic paints, stencils and natural elements including flowers, leaves, weeds and grasses.  After pulling the prints the papers are torn and cut into the desired shapes and pieced together.  Papers are adhered to the substrate with an archival matte gel medium.  This piece is on a wooden panel.
