Funky Flowers Original Collage

These fun and funky flowers incorporate several different types of paper including music sheets and old book pages.  The ground where they're sprouting is made with coffee-dyed library cards.

All paper used to create the images was hand-printed using a gel plate, acrylic paints, stencils and natural elements including flowers, leaves, weeds and grasses.  After pulling the prints the papers are torn and cut into the desired shapes and pieced together.  Papers are adhered to the substrate with an archival matte gel medium.  This piece is on a wooden panel.
